Katelyn Flemming

Worked in a team of two to redecorate and do lighting design on a hotel in Nigeria. We were asked to create unique lighting designs that were fresh and modern, yet reflect the heritage of Nigeria. We were also asked to decorate the hotel so guest would want to stay there. This task was challenging since we were not able to move any walls or change an structural items. This redesign was successful because the spaces are welcoming, well lit, and reflect the morals of the Nigerian culture.

This project was also a great life experience as we had the privilege to skype with the people of Nigeria and present our design proposals.
